Clark County Water Quality, Health, and Safety At Risk!

Public Safety and Health as well as Water Quality and availability has becoming a major concern in Oregon and Southwest Washington and particularly Clark County.

Even though Clark County exports 40% to 60% of the sand, gravel, and rock mined in the County, the County Commissioners still considering expansion of the minerals overlay map into areas with far reaching long-term impacts on home and land-owners, water availability and quality, and property values. In addition, mining policies and regulations are being re-written and some of them as now proposed, will have long-term negative impacts on property owners and other valuable resources belonging to the citizens of Clark County.
